The publication «Dziennik Bałtycki» has been known in Poland since 1945, and is published in the city of Gdansk every day from Monday to Saturday in Polish on about 50 pages. Translated into English, the name of this newspaper means «Baltic Daily». This is a Polish newspaper with local news from the Baltic region. Distributed mainly in the Polish region of Pomerania in various local editions: from Monday to Thursday (at 2), and on Friday (at 19). Cities of distribution of the newspaper: Bytów, Wejherowo, Gdansk, Gdynia, Kartuzy, Kwidzyn, Malbork, Sopot, Tczew, Schajk, Sztum.
In 2007, Dziennik Baltycki, along with a number of other regional Polish newspapers, was incorporated into the new national newspaper Polska, published in collaboration with the British daily newspaper
The Times. In its composition, the newspaper was published as an appendix with the title «Polska Dziennik Bałtycki». The creative project existed until 2015, after which the newspaper again became an independent publication and regained its original name.
