«Midi Olympique», also known by the pseudonyms «Midol» and «Le Jaune» (The yellow) — is a French rugby sports magazine published twice a week under the direction of the «La Dépêche group» with editorial offices in Toulouse and Paris. Its first issue was published on September 2, 1929, making it one of the oldest French weeklies in general. The publication is entirely dedicated to rugby, from an overview of all leagues, games and teams to transfers, discussions and analytics. Traditionally, it was published once a week on Mondays, and since 2006, in addition to it, another issue is published on Fridays. The main issue of «Midi Olympique» is informally called «rouge» (red), and the second — «vert» (green) by the color of the background in the title. The pseudonym «le jaune» (yellow) was given to the magazine by the characteristic color of the paper on which it is published. In 1998, the magazine went online, and today it also has a joint project with the Eurosport TV channel, a website about rugby Rugbyrama.fr. Every Monday, the magazine publishes a supplement «Midi Olympique Magazine», and at the beginning and end of the sports season, the editorial board publishes special editions.
The main sections of the magazine «Midi Olympique»: Tournoi des 6 nations (Tournament of 6 nations), Coupe du Monde, Top 14, Pro D2, Coupes d'Europe (European Cup), Amateurs, Féminines (women's teams), Jeunes (youth leagues, juniors), Rugby à XIII, Rugby à 7, International (international games). Since 1954, the publication annually selects the best players, team representatives, and rugby-related specialists and awards the Oscars du Midi awards.
