«La Tribune» — a popular weekly financial newspaper in France, was founded in 1985. It was intended to be more international, independent and versatile, publishing all points of view from left to right (a kind of printed economic Tribune), in contrast to its main competitor, the newspaper
Les Échos. From 1993 to 2007, the newspaper was part of LVMH. Since its foundation and until 2012, the newspaper was published in print on a daily basis, today it is an electronic weekly on the Internet with many interactive services (quotes, videos, podcasts, blogs).
The printed version of the newspaper «La Tribune» traditionally consisted of 3 sections: industry, stock market and consumer market. Since 2000, the publisher's policy has changed, the newspaper has become less free, articles have been subject to stricter censorship, many journalists have refused to cooperate with the publication and quit. In 2012, the last printed version of the newspaper was published, and since then it exists only in the electronic version, which is updated weekly. In the free version, a limited number of articles are available to the reader of the newspaper, and their full volume is offered by a paid subscription. Newspaper content: Economics (France, EU, World), Stock Exchange (current news, indices, ETFs, OPCVM, taxes), Companies and Finance (industry, banking, ecology), Science (technology, Internet, telecommunications, startups, innovations), Personal Finance (banks, loans, insurance, retail), Ideas (analytics, opinions, blogs), Metropolitan areas (each region of France has a separate page), and Careers.
